Egyptian Client Upgrades Corrugated Line with
LUM Cassette Single Facer
Every successful corrugated line upgrade starts with a unique customer story.
In 2023, we received an inquiry from an Egyptian carton manufacturer who was looking for a better solution to expand his production capacity. Before contacting us, he had already compared many suppliers and carefully evaluated different options.
After many discussions and technical exchanges, he finally chose to work with us.
At that time, his factory was looking for a Corrugated Production Line upgrade. The goal was simple: produce more, run more efficiently, and prepare for future growth.
His existing requirements were:
- Working width: 8 m
- Production speed: 200 m/min
At the beginning, he was interested in our traditional Cassette single facer because of its stable performance and proven reliability.
However, after learning more about his production needs, our technical team suggested another possibility — our Cassette single facer.
We believed this solution would bring more value to his factory.
One Machine, More Retrofit Possibilities
The biggest advantage of a Cassette single facer is its ability to quickly switch flute types.
With advanced quick change technology, the flute change time can be reduced to only:
1–3 seconds
For a carton factory producing different orders every day, this means less waiting time, higher machine utilization, and more flexible production scheduling.
Instead of investing in multiple single facer machines, one quick change single facer could handle different production requirements.
After understanding the advantages, the customer decided that this was the right choice for his factory.
This project also became our first Cassette single facer installation in Egypt, making it a special milestone for both sides.

During the project, we did not only provide equipment. We worked together with the customer on the overall planning of his carton factory.
Based on his production goals, we helped design:
